Now, the festivities are continuing withPoGO’s Johto Throwback event, and there are a bunch of new tasks for fans to complete and a bevy of rewards to pickup along the way. For players that would like to see the extent of the Johto Throwback Challenge tasks and rewards inPokemon GObefore they dive in, they are all collected below.
Prior to getting into the details ofPokemon GO’s Johto Throwback Challenge tasks, it is important to mention that they will only be available until Friday, May 15 at 1pm local time. At that point it will be time for fans to focus on the Hoenn region, and players that want to unlock the Special Research task at the end of this multi-part event should make sure to knock out the Johoto Throwback tasks inPoGOsooner rather than later.

To note, Johto Throwback research is not all that players can expect from this event, as Shiny Dunsparce is also now available in the game. Additionally,Pokemon from the Johto regionwill spawn more frequently and be featured in 7KM eggs throughout the week, and the Stardust that is awarded for catching Pokemon and completing Raids is also doubled.
