The bigCall of Duty: Black Ops Cold WarSeason 1 update dropped a couple of weeks ago, adding a slew of new content to the game. One of the most notable additions was the return of the Gunfight game mode, which was popularized inCall of Duty: Modern Warfare.Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War’s Gunfight addition came with four Gunfight maps for players to battle it out on, and Treyarch has since introduced some Gunfight variants to the mix as well, like 3v3 Gunfight Snipers Only.
3v3 Gunfight Snipers Onlyis a Gunfight variant that was popular inCall of Duty: Modern Warfare, and so it makes sense for it to return inCall of Duty: Black Ops Cold War. As its name implies, the concept is 3v3 matches on Gunfight maps, but with players restricted to only using sniper rifles. It makes Gunfight even more intense, as oftentimes a single shot from a sniper inCall of Duty: Black Ops Cold Waris enough to kill another player.

On paper, there’s nothing wrong with 3v3 Gunfight Snipers Only inCall of Duty: Black Ops Cold War. However, an issue arises when playing the mode on the Game Show map. At the start of any Gunfight match, players can see the outlines of the enemy team, so they know where they’re positioned at the start. OnGame Show, it’s possible for players to line up their shot before the countdown is over, and then immediately kill a player on the other team as soon as the round starts, as the bullet goes through the objects separating the players.
If someone in aCall of Duty: Black Ops Cold War3v3 Gunfight map is aware of this exploit, it completely ruins the game, as there is no reason for themnotto do it each time. After all, it will get players a kill immediately as the round starts, in turn giving their team a significant advantage. And if a round ofregular Gunfighton Game Show ever has snipers, the same issue can rear its ugly head. As moreCall of Duty: Black Ops Cold Warplayers become aware of this, the less fun playing Gunfight on Game Show will be.
Treyarchhas yet to respond to this issue, and so it’s unclear when it may be addressed. However, Treyarch releases newCall of Duty: Black Ops Cold Warupdates on a weekly basis, so hopefully fans don’t have to wait too much longer for this to be fixed.
Looking ahead, there should be more substantialCall of Duty: Black Ops Cold Warupdates in store as well.Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold WarSeason 2has already been confirmed, and with it a new Zombies map, so fans have that to look forward to while they wait for this Game Show issue to be fixed.
