Moreover, a prominent leaker suggestsSquare Enix may be developing aChrono Triggerremake, but an official announcement remains to be seen. Fan demand for a remake or re-release continues unabated in 2023, and one fan designed concepts for a LEGO set based on the renowned RPG.

Chrono Triggerfan SevenDeadlyStreamers designed an incredible LEGO set depicting Crono, Marle, Lucca, and the rest of the party. The LEGO set’s designs also include a buildable version of the Epoch time machine and the Millennial Fair from the Kingdom of Guardia. SevenDeadlyStreamers featured the Epoch time machine since it’s crucial tothe main story ofChrono Trigger, and the Millennial Fair serves an equally important role as one of the game’s main hubs. Further, the Epoch is customizable with removable wings and cockpit seating in the LEGO designs.

The fan-madeChrono Triggerset was submitted to the official LEGO Ideas website, which allows other LEGO fans to vote for their favorite designs. If the design gains enough support from the LEGO community, it could become an official LEGO set. Thus far, over 600 users have pledged their support for theChrono Triggerset on the website.

The LEGO set concept isa faithful tribute toChrono Triggerand one of the game’s most memorable locations. Although there’s no official confirmation regarding a remake, an official LEGO set could excite fans who’ve been waiting for officialChrono Triggermerchandise and goods. Over 380 days are left to pledge support toward theChrono TriggerLEGO set, so it’s ultimately up to the community to garner more attention and votes.

AChrono Triggerremake has not been confirmed by Square Enix, but fans of Yuji Horii’s work may still look forward to anHD-2D remake ofDragon Quest 3. Development of the newDragon Quest 3remake is still ongoing according to Horii, and a release date was not announced.
