Destiny 2players are voicing their frustration with Bungie’s radio silence on a few promises it made but has yet to deliver upon. This isn’t the first time the player base has asked for anupdate on missing content inDestiny 2, and the list of things only seems to get longer every time this topic resurfaces.

Since its launch in 2017,Destiny 2has come a long way in terms of its story and content. Bungie has added new content to the game every year, especially when a new DLC is launched; however; several players feel that it is somewhat lacking in delivering promised content lately, which has led to this newfound frustration in the community. Being a live-service game, players understand that there will always be stuff to fix and tweak in a game, but many areconcerned about the state of Gambit inDestiny 2, as well as Playlist Strikes and Ritual Armor sets.

Reddit user AJ_ShadowBlade expressed their disappointment with a post on the Destiny subreddit which highlighted the 3 aforementioned areas. For instance, Gambit has been a part ofDestiny 2since 2018, but players believe it has been the most neglected game mode since then considering the last substantial update it received was withDestiny 2’sWitch Queen expansion. Bungie also promised to provide an update shortly after, but has since neglected t do so with Gambit and the other two topics.

To add to players’ discontent,Destiny 2’sLightfall expansion only introduced one new strike with the campaign, which many found disappointing, and there is a similar frustration with theRitual Armor sets in Destiny 2as well. There hasn’t been any new Trials armor or armor from any other Playlist activity in almost a year now.

While players don’t know if Bungie will address their concerns this time, many fear that there might not be an update anything. Some fear theDestiny 2developer might be stretched thin with all the other projects likeMarathonit is currently working on, as well as the live-service work it is doing for Sony. Hopefully, Bungie will have an answer to these questions and will provide an update in the future.

Destiny 2is available on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
