According to the SteamDB website,Destiny 2reached 316,750 concurrent players, the highest number ever registered by the game on Valve’s platform. According to the website, the most recent number of concurrent players was 128,692, showingLightfall’s release really brought players together to protect the Earth from being invaded. Previously SteamDB shows that the highest number of concurrent players registered byDestiny 2was in October 2019 whenDestiny 2: Shadowkeepexpansionwas released, gathering 292,513 players.

Destiny 2changes brought byLightfallare comprehensive, the first and most notable for players is the strong nerf to exotic armor swapping in PvP.
