One Dreamlight Duty from the Haunted Holiday Star Path that has many players confused instructs the player to “Chat with the Village’s best dealmaker.”Ursula is the “Village’s best dealmaker” inDisney Dreamlight Valley.
It’s very easy to see “deal maker” and assume the term refers to one of the villagers with whom the player regularly has monetary exchanges, includingScrooge McDuckor Goofy. However, the term actually refers to Ursula, the notorious villain fromThe Little Mermaid, who is well-known for her nefarious deals with many “poor unfortunate souls.”
This behavior is briefly touched on in her Friendship quest line, as the player works alongside Ariel toget Ursula to free Prince Eric, unlocking him as a villager. However, the real scope of her dastardly deal making is only heavily touched on in her quest chain, which unlocks only with purchase ofUrsula’s Transformation Dream Bundle. This bundle and its corresponding quests can only be obtained by spending Moonstones, Dreamlight Valley’s in-game paid currency.
Therefore, this specific clue may be a bit tricky for players who aren’t familiar with the story ofThe Little Mermaidfilm. In the animated classic,Ariel makes a deal with Ursulato exchange her voice for the body of a human, so she can walk on land and experience this new life while pursuing the handsome Prince Eric.
