Popular YouTuber and streamer Dr Disrespect recently revealed the first look of aFortniteskin based on his likeness, but it isn’t clear whether the skin is actually a part of the game’s upcoming updates.Fortnitehas gained massive popularity over the years and has featured numerous collaborations and crossovers with Marvel, the NFL, Marshmello, John Wick, DC Comics, the NBA, and several other big names. Dr Disrespect appearing in the game wouldn’t be surprising, but it’s hard to say for sure with all the possible collaborations out there.
Back in November, Epic Games rolled out Chapter 4: Season OG forFortnite, which brought back many of the features and elements from the game’s first season. This season was a massive success for the developer, who reported thatFortnitesurpassed 100 million playersduring this time. Currently, Chapter 5 Season 1 of the sandbox game is underway, and it was met with disappointment from players, particularly regarding the movement changes introduced in the season. This prompted Epic Games to roll out a quick gameplay update and address these issues. The latest season also features several interesting collaborations and Battle Pass skins, such as the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Peter Griffin, Solid Snake, Valeria, and others.
With the next season three months away, some gaming leakers have deduced thatChapter 5 Season 2 ofFortnitefeatures a Greek mythology theme, based on certain references and skin designs. The upcoming season is also rumored to have a lot of interesting collaborations, one of which may or may not be with Herschel “Guy” Beahm IV, better known by his streamer name, Dr Disrespect. The popular YouTuber shared a video on Twitter, where he is seen filming his computer screen. The screen shows theFortnitelocker room with Dr Disrespect’s skin, holding two trophies. While he didn’t say anything about it being an official skin, he can be heard whispering, “Shh, let’s just keep this between us if you may,” in the background.
As things stand, there is no confirmation from Epic Games orDr Disrespectabout whetherFortniteChapter 5 Season 2 will have a Dr Disrespect character skin that fans could choose. However, the YouTube streamer’s post has gotten players in a frenzy, who would love to sport the black mullet wig, thick mustache, Oakley sunglasses, and the red-and-black attire as they carve up the opposition.
Dr Disrespect continues to be a staple of gaming news through his livestreams, which come with the occasional outbursts of anger, comical remarks, and controversies. Nearly three years ago,Twitch banned Dr Disrespect’s account, and he has recently demanded $50 million to jump ship from YouTube to Kick, which is Twitch’s biggest competitor.
