Recently during one of theseRivals of Aethertournaments, anesportsplayer known as CakeAssault took their victory celebration to the next level. The celebration happened last Sunday after the final match of a tournament being held in Sandusky, Ohio. In a video clip capturing the moment, CakeAssault can be seen leaping from his chair after pulling off an impressive victory. As the crowd erupts with cheers, the gamer begins flailing his arms violently.
Unfortunately for CakeAssault, things didn’t go according to plan after he threw one too many fist pumps into the air. Amongst the mayhem of the celebration, the gamer suddenly clutches his shoulder and falls to the ground, leaving fans confused as to what just happened.
Once the post-match celebration had concluded, CakeAssault took to Twitter to tell fans what exactly transpired. According to the gamer, he fell to the ground during the celebration because he dislocated his shoulder. Fortunately, the injury wasn’t too serious as he said that his shoulder was “mostly” alright. He even got back up after the match and started high-fiving fans in the crowd with his good arm.
This crazy celebration from CakeAssault has gone viral on social media, gaining nearly 200,000 views on Twitter. Many fans sympathized with theRivals of Aetherplayer, wishing him a speedy recovery and telling him to ice his shoulder.
