Everspace 2is full of side missions and optional objectives for players to complete, with many of these offering valuable rewards and experience, allowing players to further develop their ship and strengthen their build. One early example of this inEverspace 2is the side quest"The Undead Ship." This can be found early in the game once players are able to visit three locations in the immediate Vicinity of the Homebase.

While fixing the cloaking system for Homebase, players will need to visit Ceto Outer Rim, an area that contains “The Flying Dutchess” shop. On entering the area, players should be able to locate a shipwreck marked with a blue icon, whose Log can be downloaded by approaching it and holding the interact button.
This will reveal the location of a shipwreck where the ship’s pilot was hiding some valuables, which can now be seen on the map and when traveling in Supralight.

Head right for the newly accessible area to find a large shipwreck. Players will need to find an entry point, as shown in the image above, andfly inside to begin searching for the lostEverspaceloot. There’s a gap in the wall near a sealed door, allowing players to line up their shots with a generator on the other side and blast it away. This will cause the door to open, allowing players to proceed further inside.
This next section is blocked by a force field, and there are two generators to destroy this time. The first can be found on the other side of a damaged door that keeps opening and closing, which players can destroy by shooting. The other requires players to remove some debris from the wall opposite the aforementioned door, revealing a hole with the generator on the other side, and then shoot it to destroy it.

With the force field down, players can proceed to the next room and interact with a dispenser to get an unstable power cell. Grab it and head to the next door blocking the path forward. Players need to use the throw command (hold down interact while carrying an object, and then release it) to lob the Power Cell through a small hole in the wall by the door and into a socket.
If done correctly, this will restore power and pop the door open. Inside is a bulletproof case containingsome hard-earned loot, so players just need to open it to achieve 100% completion for the area and clear the mission.

Everspace 2is available for PC and coming soon to PS5 and Xbox Series X/S.
