Following the release of the Penacony update,Honkai: Star Railintroduced two character selectors that allowed players to pick a four-star banner. These selectors were unlocked upon completing ‘‘Vignettes in a Cup’’ and ‘‘Hanu’s Prison Break’’ events, which offered Trailblazers a series of challenges.Honkai: Star Railplayers were able to get some decent units, such as Gallagher, Sampo, Yukong, and Guinaifen, without spending their Rail Passes.
Thankfully for players,Honkai: Star Railwill reportedly add another character selector in version 2.3. This piece of information comes courtesy of Firefly Lover, a credible leaker within the community. In addition to the banner order for version 2.2, they leaked events, relics, and planar ornaments accurately.
Honkai: Star Rail’s Rumored Free Characters in Version 2.3
Although theleak from Firefly Loverdoesn’t give much information about the upcoming character selector,Honkai: Star Railplayers can expect it to be locked behind a limited-time event in version 2.3. Like Hanu’s Prison Break and Vignettes in a Cup, this event will likely remain available for a couple of weeks. According to the leaker, the character selector will feature four units: Gallagher, Hanya, Luka, and Arlan.
Arlan
Honkai: Star Rail’s Arlanis a four-star character that hails from the path of Destruction and specializes in the Lightning element. He sacrifices a certain amount of his HP to perform his skill, which delivers Lightning damage based on ATK. The character’s basic ATK and ultimate deal single-target and AoE damage, enhancing the team’s offensive capabilities.
Arlan has a powerful Talent that increases his damage based on the amount of his lost HP. Moreover, the Destruction unit uses a technique to deal AoE Lightning damage equal to a percentage of ATK. Thanks to his Eidolons, Arlan restores HP, removes one debuff from himself, and gains an ultimate damage bonus when his HP is below 50%.
Luka
Among the free four-star units in version 2.3 is Luka, who belongs to the path of Nihility and dishes out Physical damage. The character’s skill deals damage equal to a percentage of his ATK and inflicts the Bleed effect, which lasts for three rounds. He has a unique talent that gives Luka stacks of Fighting Will. When he collects two or more stacks, his basic attack turns into the Sky-Shatter Fist.
Honkai: Star Rail’s Lukais a martial artist who fits into the Physical DPS role. Not only does this Nihility-based character regenerate energy, but he also dispels one buff from the enemy. The former cage fighter specializes in dealing single-target damage and scales off ATK.
Hanya
Hanya is a four-star Harmony character who deals a reasonable amount of Physical damage and applies the Burden effect on a single target. When allies use at least two basic attacks, skills, or ultimates on targets with this effect, they recover a skill point. Hanya’s ultimate boosts her ally’s speed and ATK by a percentage.
Hanya’s kit is based on the Burden effect, which allies can trigger to gain ATK and speed boost. Players who want to add her to their team must spend their Rail Passes on the Stellar Warp banner or unlock the upcoming character selector in version 2.3.
Gallagher
One of the newest four-star characters, Gallagher, specializes in the Fire element and treads on the path of Abundance. Not only does Gallagher deal a reasonable amount of damage, but he also heals allies and applies the Besotted effect. Targets with this effect receive more Break DMG, which makes it easier to defeat bosses. The character’s Eidolons provide him with effect resistance, energy regeneration, weakness break efficiency, and break effect.
If the leak is accurate,Honkai: Star Railplayers will be able to get Gallagher for free. The character will be featured on a selector alongside other four-star characters in version 2.3. As per the usual schedule, the next major version will be released on June 18.
