Next monthSpider-Man: No Way Homewill be released in theatres, and while it’s likely to feature all kinds of cameos from past and present Spider-Men, an appearance from Miles Morales has not been confirmed. In the meantime, this Brooklyn-based digital artist and Marvel super-fan decided to make their own movie poster for a Miles Morales movie.

Created by book writer Brian Michael Bendis and artist Sarah Pichelli, Miles Morales made his comic book debut back in 2011 in the pages ofUltimate Fallout #4. Even though Parker has been the definitiveSpider-Manfor decades, the character of Miles Morales became a huge hit with readers. Since his debut, Miles has been featured in comic-book crossover’s, tv shows, video games, and the animated feature filmSpider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse.

The poster for a hypotheticalSpider-Man: Miles Moralesfilm was created by a digital artist who goes by the namethelilusionista.clon Instagram. They posted several versions of the poster, including a selfie they used as a reference photo. It’s a pretty convincing poster and even includes all the necessary fluff that a modern-day Marvel movie poster would have, such asthe IMAX logoand stylized font. While the image of Miles is a close-up, he appears to be wearing something similar to his outfit inSpider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse,which includes a hoodie and winter coat over-top his super-hero costume.

In a recent interview with GQ, Tom Holland talked about his desire to move on from the character, saying “Maybe what’s best forSpider-Manis that they doa Miles Morales film. I have to take Peter Parker into account as well because he is an important part of my life. If I’m playing Spider-Man after I’m 30, I’ve done something wrong.” While nothing is set in stone, it does seem likeSpider-Man: No Way Homecould be Holland’s last Spidey film. He’s clearly interested in moving on, and rather than Marvel casting yet another actor as Peter Parker, they could have Miles Morales as his successor.

Even though Miles Morales has not made his live-action debut, it seems like only a matter of time considering the popularity of the character and the oversaturation of Peter Parker. Fans have now hadthree different live-action versions of Spider-Man/Peter Parker over the last twenty years.

The existence of Miles Morales in the MCU was even teased in Holland’s first Spidey movie,Spider-Man: Homecoming, when a character named Aaron Davis (Donald Glover) claimed he had a nephew. In the comics, Aaron Davis is the supervillain Prowler and also the uncle of Miles Morales. The idea of a live-action Miles MoralesSpider-Manmovie featuring Childish Gambino as the villain is pretty enticing.
