But as seen in the sneak peeks, all of the trailers, and even merchandise, this game will be majorly different from the rest, and fans of the series have to be prepared for some epic changes. Not only have the game’s mechanics changed entirely, butSecurity Breachalso features new animatronics and new villains throughout the game. So for anyone just starting, here are some tips on what to expect.
8The Location Is Massive
This was evident by all the sneak peeks before the game’s release, but the new location is much larger than in any previousFNAFgame. This is a huge deal for the franchise because, before this, every game took place in a tiny room. The most players had to move before this game was inSister Locationand some parts ofHelp Wanted.
The new setting inSecurity Breachconsists of several levels, rooms, lengthy hallways, and huge wide-open spaces. And players can — and are required to — interact with these areas throughout the game. For a game that has never before featured an enormous space like this one,FNAFdid an impressive job.

7Prepare For An Open-World Experience
Due to the massive location ofSecurity Breach, players will often feel like they’re in anopen-world game. This is because the game’s plot doesn’t move in a linear motion, therefore players have the freedom to explore as they wish. Missions often don’t have a required order in which to complete them, and players will not be timed.
Players have all the time in the world to roam around looking for clues, collectibles, andhidden secrets, and truly get theFNAFversion of an open-world experience. And while this has its setbacks (some players feel it doesn’t really feel like aFNAFgame anymore), it is a refreshing change for the franchise.

6There Are New Animatronics
As seen in thecinematic trailersand the merchandise for the game,Security Breachshakes things up with a whole new team of animatronics. This has been done before in games likeSister LocationandPizzeria Simulator, but is still a surprise for fans.

The new entourage includes Glamrock Freddy, Glamrock Chica, Montgomery Gator, and Roxanne Wolf. There are also other animatronics along the way that hunt or chase players, like S.T.A.F.F., Music Man, and Sundrop/Moondrop.
5Play The Mini-Games
In addition to the new location and the new gameplay style, there will also be mini-games inSecurity Breach. After collecting the rightsecurity badges, players can enter some restricted locations, and therefore play some mini-games with the animatronics.
The location ofSecurity Breachis something of a game-arena with not only arcade games, but games similar to dodgem, laser tag, and more. There are also two hidden mini-games inSecurity Breach,Princess Quest(also seen inHelp Wanted), andBalloon World. These play into certain endings that players can achieve.

4Watch Out For S.T.A.F.F.
There’s nothing quite as infuriating asSecurity Breach’s S.T.A.F.F., the “security guards” of the establishment. They patrol in nearly every location, and they can’t be avoided by stunning them or running from them. The only thing players can do is hide.

These small robots will bethe main source of jumpscares, and after a few hours of playing, they will become more annoying than scary. When a player is running from someone or trying to finish a task quickly, and suddenly the S.T.A.F.F. begins harassing them, it adds to the tension of the game.
3Learn To Trust Fazbear
Possibly the weirdest thing inSecurity Breachis that the animatronics aren’t as bad as in the previous installments. Or rather they’re bad in a different way. The Glamrock animatronics seem to be programmed to huntthe protagonistdown, and not haunted like in the early games. (However, this is never explained in the game, so these are just speculations).

One thing’s for sure: players need to learn to trust Glamrock Freddy, which is harder than one might think, because of all the trauma the character has caused players in the past. InSecurity Breach, Glamrock Freddy will offer major help, including (but not limited to) becoming a place to hide, offering the ability to control him, and giving the player opportunities to upgrade him.
2The Original Gameplay Style Only Comes Back At The End
Most players miss the original gameplay and mechanics ofFNAF. It was unique, it was terrifying, and it was the best thing to happen to the horror gaming genre. And however disappointing the new game style might be, players will be happy to hear that the old gameplay does come back at the end — kind of.
To get to this nostalgic area, players have to find the True Ending ofSecurity Breachwhere they’ll have tofight Springtrapas he tries to manipulate and control Glamrock Freddy. His character will be seen on screens, in a manner similar to the oldFNAFgames. At the same time, there is one vent, and two doors that will have to be monitored by running around in the open space and closing/opening doors.

1There Are Multiple Endings
However intriguingthe True Endingsounds, there are multiple endings toSecurity Breach. There’s the Bad Ending, the Disassembled Ending, the Unmasked Ending, the Good Ending, the True Ending, and the Princess Quest Ending.

The ending a player gets depends on the direction the player chooses to take. For example, the Princess Quest Ending can only be unlocked by playing all the Princess Quest arcade games found throughout Pizzaplex. The endings are ranked on a star basis, the worst being one star, and the best being three.
