Fortnite’s Winterfest event is going on right now, and players can look forward to holiday-themed quests each day while the event runs. Winterfest kicked off on December 16 and will end on June 26, 2025. Not only will players be able to accept a new quest each day, but they can alsohead to the Cozy Lodge and open up a gift from Sgt. Winter. There are 14 presents in total that include these items: two Outfits, two Pickaxes, two Wraps, a Glider, a Contrail, an Emote, a Lobby Track, a Loading Screen, an Emoticon, a Spray, and a Banner.
Sgt. Winter is also bringing back some weapons from the armory, and one of these items is the Snowball Launcher. The second quest ofFortnite’s Winterfest event requires players to deal 50 damage to an opponent using the Snowball Launcher, so players will want to know how to get their hands on it. The thing is, it’s not found in just one specific location on theChapter 3Fortnitemap.

Where to Find Snowball Launchers in Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 1
Snowball Launchers are very rare weapons that can only befound in treasure chests and as floor loot; however, the latter is much less likely. Players will need to drop into areas with a lot of buildings and homes since those will no doubt be filled with chests. It’s pretty much random, though, as there is no way to guarantee the chest is at any specific location.Fortniteplayers will just need to search and search until one is found.
A good tactic to find one is to watch out for other players that may have one themselves. If players take them down, they can take the gun away from them and then attempt to use it on someone else to complete today’s Winterfest quest. If a player takes too long to get a Snowball Launcher and doesn’t think they’ll find someone to attack, they can always use one of thenew Tent items to store the launcher for the next matchwhen there are more players.
Once the quest is complete, players will earn XP towards the Battle Pass and will have to wait until the next day to find out what the next Winterfest quest is.
