The Millennial Pearl Seahorse can make for a terrifying boss in the Spiral Abyss with how often it initiates attacks. It also has one state where it attacks while being away from Melee range, which could force players to include a ranged unit like Ganyu orLyney inGenshin Impact. However, as a Normal Boss, the Millennial Pearl Seahorse doesn’t pose that much danger and can be dealt with swiftly.

How To Beat Millennial Pearl Seahorse In Genshin Impact

Bringing the correct team can immensely help beat the Millennial Pearl Seahorse inGenshin Impact. Since it’s a Normal Boss, most team compositions can deal with it. The boss still moves a lot and has a good set of moves, sohaving a shielder like Zhongli can nullify any incoming damagethe boss could potentially deal.

The battlestarts with the Seahorse having aXenomare Pearl(an Electro shield), absorbing most of the incoming damage. Players mustbring a team strong in Elemental Reactions, such as Hyperbloom teams. Pyro, Cryo, and Dendro are all equally good at depleting Electro shields.Once it loses its shield, it’ll be incapacitated and fall to the ground. After that, the boss will be vulnerable for a few seconds and people can attack the boss without any retaliation. As long as the Millennial Pearl Seahorse doesn’t summon their shield back, they would take extra damage because of their reduced resistance.

Like mostbosses inGenshin Impact, the Millennial Pearl Seahorse has a set of ranged and melee attacks. Most of its Melee attacks are a set of leaps toward players, dealing Electro damage, while the ranged ones consist of summoning a swarm of fish that either directly attack the active character or ambush them from beneath their feet. All these movesets deal Electro damage and can be hurtful if the active character is squishy. It’s the only cave there, so it shouldn’t get confusing. Follow the path of the cave to eventually make it to a teleport Waypoint and boss next to it.
