AGenshin Impactplayer has uncovered a helpful trick for one of the featured five-star characters, combining one of Nilou’s skills with the Parametric Transformer. While Nilou wasn’t regarded as a top-tier meta character in the days leading up to her release, the Hydro user has found her place as apopular choice for Bloom team comps. Her unique ability to empower Bloom cores encourages unorthodox team building, and she can be effective both on-field and as an off-field sub-DPS. Now, players have discovered another niche use for her multi-faceted kit.
Nilou’s unique status withinGenshin Impacthas seen the character emerge as a top choice for one of the Dendro element’s more unusual team comps. Making full use of Nilou’s kit requires players to only run Dendro and Hydro characters within her teams to generate her empowered “Bountiful Cores.” This restriction makes Nilou much less favorable in typical Bloom comps focused around the Burgeon and Hyperbloom reactions. However, many players have quickly taken to the character and discovered unique quirks with her abilities.

Reddit user Nouarx showed off the unusual trick utilizing Nilou’s skill alongside the Parametric Transformer gadget. By casting Nilou’s Elemental Skill three times using the Skill input, rather than her Normal Attack, the ability creates a field around her that constantly applies Hydro. The Hydro application works to quickly fill the Parametric Transformer’s charge bar without needing to use any other skills, allowing players to easily farm resources using the gadget. The Parametric Transformer gives a variety of rewards including Weapon andTalent ascension materialson a weekly basis.
Nilou’s re-release during Version 3.6 has seen many players take their opportunity to pick up the character following her release in Version 3.1. The character’s re-appearance joins one of the best characters to play alongside her in one of Sumeru’s most popular cast members, Nahida.Nahida is considered a powerful additionto any Dendro team, not only providing consistent Dendro application across multiple enemies but also empowering Reactions with her Burst. Nilou and Nahida’s banner will be available until Wednesday of next week when the update’s second half begins.
The long-awaited re-run of Nilou and Nahida precedes another character that manyGenshin Impactplayers have waited years for. At the start of Version 3.5, HoYoverse would revealBaizhu as the newest five-star characterjoining the RPG in Version 3.6 as a Dendro support unit. Baizhu was first introduced toGenshin Impactplayers early on within the game’s life, playing a minor role in the main story of Liyue. With Baizhu set to run alongside another fan-favorite Liyue character in Ganyu, fans ofGenshin Impact’s China-inspired region have plenty to look forward to.
