The newHelldivers 2Stratagemshave arrived in-game, allowing players to make use of the new LAS-99 Quasar Cannon and the MG-101 Heavy Machine Gun on the battlefield. The Tweet confirming the addition mentioned that the two new support Stratagems are made “for use against the Automaton horde,” so they come at the perfect time. With the current Major Order inHelldivers 2being centered around fighting the Automatons rather than the Terminids, the new Stratagems will hopefully prove to be essential choices during this period.

At their most powerful, Stratagems have the potential to change the entire meta of the game, so the developer has to make sure there’s no major power creep taking place with new releases. So far, the Stratagems have been well-balanced, and hopefully, this continues in the future.
The hype forHelldivers 2remains enormous, thanks to Arrowhead Game Studios' commitment to updating the game regularly. Thelast patch forHelldivers 2solved a massive number of freezing issues with the game’s Arc weapons, allowing them to be used by players again. These updates are just frequent enough that players who hop on every day still have a bunch of new content to enjoy, and it’s a great sign thatHelldivers 2’s player count remains healthy after its initial launch period.
