How to Store Power Armor in Fallout 76

Storing Power ArmorinFallout 76can be accomplished in several ways. The easiest way, is to simply place the various objects into a Stash Box, and call it a day. Players will quickly learn, however, that this method is not practical in the long term. With a weight limit of 1200, the Stash Box quickly fills, and soon enough, players will be looking for which items they should delete. While, to some degree, this will always be a problem players will face inFallout 76,there is a way to make Power Armor storage less of an issue.

The key to storing Power Armor inFallout 76is collecting Power Armor chassis. Players will know that these are the essential frames that a set of Power Armor is built around. On their own, they weigh 10 pounds. And they stay at 10 pounds in player inventory, regardless of the weight of individual Power Armor pieces. For example, a full set of T-45 Power Armor can way over 50 pounds when the individual pieces are weighed. But when they are mounted on a chassis, the whole set will never weigh more than 10 pounds.

Power Armor chassis are essential for players looking to use and store multiple sets of Power Armor. The early-game goal should be at least 5 chassis. This will allow players to store the many Power Armor pieces they get throughFO76’s event rewardsor exploration.

Chassis can usually be found in industrial locations, such as mines and factories. Red Rocket gas stations are another location that often has chassis sitting in Power Armor stations free for the taking.
