PopularTwitchstreamers Adept and xQc have been embroiled in a divorce, and some leaked documents reveal that the latter can’t talk about it on the streaming platform. Felix “xQc” Lengyel is known for doing a variety of content on hisTwitchchannel and has recently done some IRL livestreamnig, but he’s apparently unable to talk divorce details on the website.
Since some divorce documents concerning Samantha “Adept” Lopez and xQc leaked, the former confirmed some information, notably that her ex-husband can’t let his audience know key details. Although some xQc fans have gotten certain details about the Adept split like what’s going on withthe Twitch streamer’s McLarenand what happened between him and Nyyxxii since the divorce, xQc has largely been silent on the issue. The aforementioned leaked legal documents may help shed some light on why the popular Twitch streamer has been so quiet about the divorce while outspoken on other things.

According to the court documents between Adept and xQc, the two were married between August 2020 and October 2022 which is when one of the parties filed the legal paperwork. The leaked information confirmed that Adept wasn’t only the person filing for divorce, but that she also got a restraining order on xQc with its own rules forthe formerOverwatchLeague pro. A court order among the paperwork is what prevents xQc from talking about the situation on Twitch or any of his social channels, while the restraining order prevents the livestreamer from contacting Adept digitally.
With the divorce and restraining order already filed, it’s unlikely that Adept and xQc will be seen in public together as they had on other occasions thatsparked Twitch rumorsthat they were still together. The leaked divorce papers between Adept and xQc also suggest that the former was compensated for the legal fees that she incurred from trial costs, hiring attorneys, and more. Because xQc is legally bound not to discuss the situation, it’s currently unclear if he’ll ever be able to publicly share his side of the separation with Adept, but it seems to be a complex breakup.
Adept and xQc both continue to Twitch stream regularly, and it’s not shocking that the former wife wouldn’t want their private details discussed with a live audience, but the leaking of the documents may have complicated things a bit. Given thatTwitch’s xQchas suggested that he was never married to Adept, the leaked divorce papers may also cause him to backtrack on past statements.
