The director ofMario + Rabbids: Sparks of Hopehints that the upcomingRayman-themed DLC has a secret message that can be discovered if players meet certain criteria.Sparks of Hopeis the sequel toMario + Rabbids: Kingdom Battle, where Mario and his friends once again team up with the Rabbids in a turn-based strategy RPG. While Rayman is a rather recognizable video game character, he has mostly been pushed away in favor of the Rabbid characters. WhenUbisoft announced that Rayman would be coming toSparks of Hope, many fans were quite pleased, though others stated they would have preferred a brand-newRaymangame as opposed to just an expansion to an already existing one. Regardless,Sparks of Hope’s third DLC will be launching at the end of August, and the director behind the game, David Soliani, has shared a message for fans looking to play it.

On top of the secret message, Soliani states that he had a bigger goal while working on the game’s DLC. He asks for the fanbase’s support to help make it possible, hoping tobring Rayman back to the spotlightafter all these years. Despite the series' dedicated following, Ubisoft’s former mascot has ostensibly been reduced in popularity over time. Asides from this DLC, the last game Ubisoft developed involving theRaymanseries wasRayman Legends, which originally released in 2013 and had a definitive edition re-release on the Nintendo Switch in 2017.
Sparks of Hope’s third DLC is known as “Rayman in the Phantom Show,” wih the titular character finding himself transported into a mysterious new dimension known as the Phantom’s Opera studio. Rayman has to team up withRabbid Peach and Rabbid Mario, exploring a variety of TV show sets. This includes a western setting, a game show, and even the back lots. This DLC will be launching June 05, 2025.
