With the launches of Capcom’s latest additions to theMonster Hunterseries such asMH RiseandMonster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruinin 2021, it is not surprising thatMonster Hunter World Iceborneseems to have taken a backseat in the perspective of the gaming community. Nevertheless,Icebornereached a significant sales milestoneand seems to still have a faithful player base, with a fan using a 3D printer to create an incredible wall mount of the Elder Dragon Alatreon.

It’s been more than a year since the lastMonster Hunter World Icebornefree title updatewas released. Fans likely recall that the developers ended these free updates with a bang, by releasing one of the most powerful monsters that hunters have to defeat, the Fatalis. Before that, though, hunters also had to face Alatreon, an Elder Dragon that is known for switching elements in the middle of battle. Given how tough it is to defeat the Alatreon, hunters likely experienced memorable moments during their hunts. This explains why a fan may have decided to put the Elder Dragon into their living space.

To showcase their 3D-printed wall mount of Alatreon, user TurboTimmy123 shared a photo on theMonster Hunter WorldsubReddit. With the Alatreon’s iconic horns proudly standing out, the wall mount looks more like a trophy than a display. To show off the sizing of the Alatreon head, the original poster also hung their headset on the monster’s open mouth. This way, users on the thread would know just how large the wall mount is. Though Legiana produced the wall mount in white, painting it in the monster’s colors would likely make it as intimidating as theMHW Iceborneversion of Alatreon.

Many fellowMonster Hunter Worldfans were amazed at the artist’s work. TurboTimmy123 even shared the 3D-printing patterns of the wall mount, as long as whoever uses them will not produce items from profit. Other fans even requested the original poster to create other monsters from the game, namely Khezu, Zinogre, and thelegendary black dragon Fatalis. TurboTimmy123 even answered the specific comment about Fatalis, stating that the monster is in their production backlog.

With amazing items produced byMonster Hunter World Icebornefans such as TurboTimmy123, it likely saddens players that Capcom and its developers have completely stopped updating the game. Even the removal of some specific event quests have already been announced by the team. However, it is nice to see that the love for the game continues to stay alive through its avid fanbase and community.
