Standing toe to toe with the likes ofFortnite, Warzone, andApex Legends,Valoranthas quickly shot up to become one of the most frequently streamed games currently available despite currently only being in closed beta. Many have claimed that the game has a lot of potential in the long-run, despite streamers such as Shroud admitting that they thoughtValorant’s official releaseearly next month might be somewhat premature.

It seems the game has also generated a fair amount of competition between players online, with many commenting on each others' in-game rankings. Case in point, there’s a recent interaction between Dr DisRespect,Ninja, and Shroud, with the former placing Bronze-3 in the popular online shooter and becoming the subject of some light joking from his fellow streamers.

The interaction began after Dr DisRespect lost a bet against TimtheTatMan, with the two betting 100 subs over who could rank higher inValorant’scompetitive modes. TimtheTatMan managed to secure Silver-2 for his ranking; meanwhile, Dr DisRespect fell behind his fellow streamer, finding himself with a Bronze-3. The Doc stuck by his word and donated 100 subs to his worthy opponent, yet it seems the bigger punishment was to come from the gentle mocking of both Shroud and Ninja. Ninja tweeted out, “DUDE LOL @drdisrespectPLACED BRONZE 3 IN VALORANT LOL,” while Shroud simply tweeted at the Two-Time “B R O N Z E.”

Hilariously,Dr DisRespectseemed to play up to his crushing defeat by deletingValorantoff his computer, claiming he was “never playing it again!” He then silently unfollowed both Ninja and Shroud, playing into his over-the-top persona’s infamously angry nature. This seems to merely be the streamer playing into the joke of his crushing defeat, making light of his loss by acting the role of the sore loser.

However, many seem to think that the Doc’s uninstalling ofValorantcould be more permanent than his jokey feuds with Ninja and Shroud. The popular streamer has voiced his issues with the game before, with a running joke in his community being how muchDr DisRespect dislikesValorant.Regardless, it seems the game is getting a lot of buzz elsewhere, with players commenting that it’s one of the most interesting multiplayer shooters to hit the market in recent months. Whether the title will be able to continue to build its momentum and remain a major part of the streaming scene remains to seen, but it’s undeniably got a lot of support behind it.
