When traveling into the mushroom area ofPalworld, it’s best to avoid inhaling too many spores in the air. In order to encounter Shroomer, the first order of business will be to unlock the fast travel waypoint linked tothe mushroom area ofPalworld. The quickest way to do so is to fast travel to Ice Wind Island and then travel northwest across the water. This will require a flying mount likeNitewingor a water mount likeJormuntideand will take approximately ten minutes to reach, when taking stamina and distance into consideration.
Once the travel waypoint has been unlocked, it will be time to hunt down those adorable Shroomers. The island is infested with gigantic mushrooms and ponds everywhere, and the spore mist will make visibility harder to navigate. Unlike the mushrooms taking over the island, Shroomer does move around, which will inevitably give away their location.
Although Shroomer isn’t known to attack on sight, they won’t hesitate to jump into battle if attacked or trapped inside apal sphere. Since they have above-average attack power for a grass element and travel in groups of two or more, it would be wise to have the proper armor equipped before taking Shroomer on, otherwise it will be a frustrating battle to get through.
To make matters easy for players looking to catch their first Shroomer, wait until nightfall before traveling to the mushroom area. Shroomer will still be available to catch and will be asleep when the sun goes down, making the catch rate slightly higher than during the day.

Shroomer won’t make much of a difference in battle, but it isn’t unable to hold its own either. Grass-type pals are less likely to have high attack power unless they have a secondary element, which Shroomer does not have. Fortunately, it can still deal a good chunk of damage if players are desperate for a grass pal to counter ground-type pals frequented in the desert regions.
Where Shroomer shines is back home at the base, thanks to its Level 2 Planting, Lumbering, and Gathering work suitability, as well as its Level 1 Handiwork suitability. Having a good range of versatile skills to use is always a welcome bonus, and Shroomer can be efficient with keeping the crops growing and making sure they are properly stored in chests to keep from building up clutter.
