Pokemonfan and artist Cobalt-Blues shared their concept for Porygon as a human. The Pokemon shares the iconic color scheme of their human version, and some other elements have been carried over, as well. The human version of Porygon looks young and cheerful, and maintains the polygonal aspect of the original Pokemon, with sharp edges on its shoulders, ears, face, and even hair. There’s a slight synthetic look to the human, as though they were created as anartificial lifeform like Porygonwas. The fan also shared a recolored version of their art, depicting what a shiny Porygon would look like if transformed into a person.

Pokemonfans seem to be quite enthusiastic about the art, with a couple noting that they had a similar image in mind when thinking about a human version of Porygon. The artist is currently requesting ideas for whichPokemon to turn into humansnext, and plenty of fans have shared their choices. With so many responding, the artist may not be able to accomplish everything asked, but they’ve already accepted a couple suggestions. The artist is currently working on Gothitelle and plans to do Typhlosion after that.

Pokemon and Human Forms

In thePokemonseries, there haven’t been many Pokemon that have acquired true human forms, though there are plenty ofhumanoid-like Pokemon. Despite that, it’s a popular subject for fans to think about. Transforming Pokemon into people might not be something that the anime or game series focuses on in the future, even though the games have regularly introduced new forms for Pokemon over the years. It’s always possible that The Pokemon Company could take notice, as it’s not totally unprecedented, with thePokemonanime turning Latias into a human at one point. In the meantime, though, there’s no end to the fanart designs produced by the community.
