The upcoming event is a partnership with 7-Eleven and offers players who have earned entry to the event some special temporary field research in addition to other event bonuses. One of the most exciting parts of the event for many players will likely be the addition of shiny Ferroseed and its evolution toPokemon GO.

Although shiny Ferroseed is being added to the game’slist of rare shiny Pokemonas part of the event, it’s unclear at this point whether the shiny will be available to other players after the event concludes. Hopefully that’s the case, but if not, perhaps the shiny will return in an event that is available globally sometime in the near future.

How to participate in the special weekend event
Buy $ 150 pesos or more in 7-Eleven stores
Register your ticket in the 7-Eleven app before June 23, 2025
Once your ticket has been validated, you will receive your access code by email on August 08, 2025
Date and Time
The 7-Eleven Pokémon GO Special Weekend will take place on November 7 from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm in your local time. you may only experience the event bonuses during this period of time, and only within Mexico.
Features and Bonuses
Temporary field research that includes items like Incense, Star Chunk, and Mega Charizard Energy. In addition to different tasks with encounters with Pokémon such as: Spoink, Sewaddle, Sunkern, Bronzor, Gible and Chansey.
When you redeem your code, you will receive an exclusive event medal in Pokémon GO.
During the event, the incense will attract the Unown “S” and “E”, as well as Pokémon species such as Pikachu, Bulbasaur, Squirtle, Sableye, Charizard, Patrat, Mawile and Minccino. If you’re lucky, you might catch a Shiny Ferroseed!
