Additionally, several bonuses are active during Community Day such as increased Candy drops and reduced trading costs. The October 2023 Community Day event will be the perfect opportunity to capture Timburr and earn useful rewards while exploring on the weekend.

The October 2023 Community Day forPokemon GOwill take place on October 15 from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. local time. During the Community Day event,Pokemon GOplayers may capture Timburr and evolve it into Gurdurr to earn an exclusive special move upon its final evolution into Conkeldurr. The Conkeldurr will know Charged Attack Brutal Swing, a power Dark-type physical attack with 65 power in Trainer battles, Gyms, and raids. What’s more, an exclusive Timburr Special Research story will be available for $1.00 or one Special Research ticket. All players will have access to Field Research tasks focusing on the featured Pokemon as well.
When is Pokemon GO October 2023 Community Day?
Various event bonuses will be active during thePokemon GOOctober 2023 Community Day event, including triple Stardust and double Candy drops after catching Pokemon. Once the Community Day event ends, a special Gurdurr four-star raid event will be active from 5:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. local time.Pokemon GOplayers who complete a raid battle will activate increased encounter rates for Timburr around the Gym that hosted the raid. The Timburr encounter rate will be the same as the rate used for the main Community Day event. As usual,Raid Passes are required to participate in raid battlesduring Community Day events.
Although the Community Day period is only limited to three hours,Pokemon GOplayers will be able to capture Timburr from 2:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. if they’re close to a Gym. The reduced trading costs will be helpful for those wanting to immediately trade for Timburr. Moreover, the additional Special Trade bonus should be useful for those wanting to trade a shiny Timburr for an equally rare Pokemon.
Pokemon GOalso hostsCommunity Day Classic events, so Niantic will likely reveal another featured Pokemon soon. These events typically highlight Pokemon from the earliest generations of the long-running franchise such as Charmander and Squirtle.
