Pokemon Scarlet and Violethave revealed the next five-star Tera Raid, which will pit trainers against Mismagius. Just in time for Halloween,Pokemon Scarlet and Violetplayers will have another chance to face a powerful Pokemon and get rewards.

Last week,Pokemon Scarlet and Violetplayers battled Blissey, which marked the Normal-type Pokemon’s second appearance in Tera Raids. Tera Shards were given as a reward, which made the event ideal, especially forPokemonplayers who have a Glimmering Charm. Before Blissey’s Tera Raid,Pokemontrainers faced Hisuian Decidueye the Unrivaled. To close out the month of October, The Pokemon Company announced a new Tera Raid that will give players a second chance to catch another Pokemon.

According to Serebii, the next five-star Tera Raid will be Mismagius. The event starts on October 27 at 00:00 UTC and ends on October 31 at 23:59 UTC. In this Tera Raid,Pokemonplayers will battle Ghost Tera Type Mismagius, previously seen in theJanuary Tera Raid with Drifblim. Mismagius' move set is currently unconfirmed, but it knew Shadow Ball, Mystical Fire, Fake Tears, Power Gem, and Nasty Plot in its first run. Mismagius is a Ghost-type Pokemon featured in Gen 4 that is the evolution of Misdreavus when exposed to a Dusk Stone. In Gen 9 Mismagius is only available inPokemon Violet. As a result, the only way forPokemon Scarletplayers to add the critter to their records is by trading with friends.

When is the Pokemon Scarlet and Violet Mismagius Raid?

Pokemon Scarlet and Violetplayers will receive additional rewards for joining this new Tera Raid event. While the exact rewards haven’t been revealed, Serebii reports that “lots of Rare Candy” will be waiting.Rare Candy is a helpful itemthat gives Pokemon a free level up. Another possibility is that the event will reward players with Exp Candies, but that is awaiting confirmation.

Pokemon Scarlet and Violetintroduced Tera Raids as a new way to fight Pokemon. These battles feature Terastallized Pokemon, a temporary phenomenon that gives the creatures a gem-like appearance and sometimes changes their type. The Mismagius' Tera Raid returns a month after the release of Teal Mask, the first part of The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero DLC. In this new adventure,Pokemon Scarlet and Violetplayers travel to Kitakami and learn about the mysteries of the region.Pokemonplayers now await the Indigo Disk, thesecond part ofPokemon Scarlet and Violet’s DLC.
