These operators are used as avatars for players to either attack or defend in multiple game modes. The game includes several operators by default. In an announcement earlier today, Ubisoft shared its plan for year six ofRainbow Six Siegewith a reveal of a collaboration with Capcom’s horror franchise,Resident Evil. The partnership comes in the form of a brand-new outfit forWhite Noise operator Zofia, who takes on the image of Jill Valentine. Jill Valentine is a special operations agent inResident Eviland a key character in the game. Fans can get a look at the upcoming skin through a short teaser from an official tweet from theRainbow Six team. The stream also hinted at a possible additional collaboration with the fan favorite show Rick and Morty after Ubisoft used a green portal as a transition similar to what the show does.

This is not the first timeRainbow Six Siegehas collaborated with other companies. Back in February last year the game introduced a Lara Croft skin for their existing operator Ash. Square Enix, the publishers ofTomb Raider, and Ubisoft have a rich history of collaborations. However, the same cannot be said forResident Evilowner’s Capcom. Capcom and Ubisoft entered into a publishing agreement in 2006 to bring Capcom titles to PC. However, little has been heard about a collaboration between the two companies since.

Fans of both series are likely to be overjoyed by the announcement. The collaboration is appropriate as both games are shooters. This new skin could encourage players ofResident Evilto take upRainbow Six Siege, and vice versa. It’s possible that some fans are sure not to be interested in the collaboration including those who are not fans ofResident Evilmay not care for the announcement. However, the roadmap for the sixth year ofRainbow Six Siegelooks to have enough exciting content to keep fans coming back for more.
