Genshin Impactplayers could receive a free four-star unit in the upcoming Fontaine update which will introduce tons of new characters to the game. Four-star characters have a smaller pity which means that players don’t have to invest too many Primogems in order to add them to their roster.
Their 10-wish pity guarantees one featured four-star character within 10 wishes, however, these odds are spread between three different units.Genshin Impactoften allows players to add one four-star unit for free by completing a couple of event-exclusive objectives.

According to a new post on theGenshin ImpactLeaks subreddit, Travelers will be able to acquire one copy of Lynette in the upcoming update 4.0. Thischaracter has officially been announced by HoYoverseand recent leaks have confirmed that she has a lower four-star rarity. When it comes to her element, Lynette’s official splash art has confirmed that she will be a new Anemo user who is expected to have great synergy with her brother Lyney. Both of them are magicians who also appear in the recently released “Overture Teaser: The Final Feast” promo video. Players expect the main storyline for 4.0 to revolve around these two characters who seem to have a much darker side than many players though, at least according to the teaser.
Despite initially appearing friendly,recent rumors have unveiled Lyney’s true natureas a very sly individual who only cares about himself and his sister. Lynette is expected to be a new four-star support who can fit multiple team compositions since she carries an Anemo Vision. Her Elemental Skill will have two variations. Tapping this skill makes Lynette perform an Enigma Thrust attack that deals AoE Anemo damage and restores some of her HP.
If a player holds this skill, Lynette will apply an effect called Shadoswing to ally nearby opponents.Lynette’s Elemental Burst will make her spawn a Bogglecat Boxwhich will taunt all enemies nearby, similar to Mona’s Phantom of Fate. This box will also deal different types of damage if it gets infused by one of the following elements: Pyro, Hydro, Electro, or Cryo.
Some fans have pointed out that they love the fact that both Lyney and Lynette have the ability to taunt enemies which can allow them to step back and reposition themselves. Even though both characters have officially been confirmed forGenshin Impactversion 4.0, there is still no information about their exact banner placement.
