When theSpider-Man: No Way HomeBlu-ray was announced, fans were promised about ten minutes of deleted scenes. These included scenes were titled, “Interrogation Scene Extended,” “Peter Day at Midtown High,” “Undercroft Montage,” “Happy’s Very Good Lawyer,” and “The Spideys Hang Out.” It’s unfortunate because fans could’ve potentially seen more ofDaredevil and Spider-Man interacting, but they were unfortunately not able to because the Blu-ray edition that was released didn’t have these promised features, which caused fan backlash.

Fans have claimed that Sony has committed false advertising with the release of the Blu-ray edition by not having the promised features. It’s clear that these scenes do in fact exist, but why they didn’t make it onto the Blu-ray disc is a whole other question entirely. According to ComicBookMovie, a Reddit user confirmed that the packaging for the Walmart exclusive edition of theSpider-Man: No Way HomeBlu-ray still advertises the deleted scenes, likely because it was printed before they were removed. Hopefully, this gets resolved and fans are allowed a refund due to the confusion.

Spider-Man will one day return in a future Marvel project, but regarding Tom Holland’s future, many are questioning how likely this is. Holland has made it clear that he would love to return but needs a mini-break from acting. The actor has been filming nonstop as he worked on threeSpider-Manfilms, twoAvengersfilms, aCaptain Americafilm, starred in theUnchartedfilm adaptationand also worked on a few independent projects within the past year. One can easily see why the actor needs time, as burnout would not be ideal or fair to the talent.

Marvel Studios typically has a habit of having actors and talent return to future projects as they continue to build their world, which has worked very well.Marvel Studios accomplished a featthat will go down in cinema history as one of the greatest shared universes of all time. The only issue with making films emulate the comic book storyline is that heroes never “age” in the books and always look the same. Actors have personal lives, get haircuts, have changing appearances and go through personal challenges that may affect their mental state of mind, which makes Marvel Studios' accomplishments so pivotal. Hopefully, this success continues for the sake of everyone involved and fans alike.
