Disney, seeking out original content for Disney Plus and hearing fan demand for another entry, has ordered up a third helping of Nunsense. Goldberg says the script is ready to go, and she wants a Fallon cameo if she can get it. She revealed the good news when she appeared on Fallon’sThe Tonight Show, and after her annunciation, cleverly asked Fallon if he’d like to appear in the movie when it gets made. Whoopi made mention of arecurring gag on the old Adam WestBatmanseries, in which Batman and Robin would climb a building and a guest star—think theAddams Familyor Jerry Lewis—would pop their head out of a window and ask them to keep it down. Interest in a third film would spark now and again, but despite various cast members saying they’d come back, nothing was pursued by Disney, whose 1990s adult shingle, Touchstone Pictures, produced it.
