WWE 2K22has now been available for nearly two months and by all accounts it’s the success that WWE and 2K were hoping for. With that in mind, developer Visual Concepts has shifted its focus to post-launch content for the pro wrestling game. It’s perhaps no surprise, but what appears to be the primary focus for post-launchWWE 2K22is the game’s MyFaction gacha card-collecting mode. MyFaction’s latest addition is a new WrestleMania Rewind pack featuring some of WWE’s biggest stars.
As the name implies, the WrestleMania Rewind pack forWWE 2K22has some unique appearances for players to unlock for MyFaction mode based on pastWrestleManiaappearances. There are 11 new cards to acquire, split between two sets. The WWE Superstars included in the two sets include AJ Styles, Alexa Bliss, Asuka, Becky Lynch, Cesaro (who is no longer with WWE), Hulk Hogan, Roman Reigns, Seth Rollins, Shayna Baszler, Sheamus, and Shinsuke Nakamura.

Several of the cards in each set are also special Evolution cards for MyFaction mode, meaning they can be upgraded. Just don’t expect any Diamond quality cards in these sets, unfortunately. Asuka, AJ Styles, Shinsuke, andHulk Hoganare Evolution cards in the first set, while Becky Lynch, Roman Reigns, and Seth Rollins are Evolution cards in the second set.
As for which cards MyFaction players are going to want to pick up just for their power alone, three cards in particular are higher ranked than the others. Roman Reigns' card has a score of 73, but he’s not the highest-ranked card of the WrestleMania Rewind set. That honor goes to bothAJ Stylesand Becky Lynch. The two of them have Gold-tier cards with a score of 74 each. Plus, as previously mentioned, all three cards are Evolution and can be dramatically improved with upgrades.
Individual WrestleMania Rewind packs can be acquired in-game for a cost of either 5,900 MFP or 7,500 VC. Alternatively, a Deluxe 10 Pack Box can be acquired for 73,000 MFP or 93,750 VC. Depending on howWWE 2K22MyFactionplayers buy their currency, a 10-pack box will cost between $20 and $30.
The MyFaction game mode inWWE 2K22remains highly controversial. Gacha modes likeWWE 2K22’s MyFaction,FIFA’s Ultimate Team,MaddenUltimate Team, orNBA 2KMyTeam, have been equated to gambling, though regulation attempts have so far fallen short. Interested players should be aware that every MyFaction pack is randomized, with each pack typically offering just a single card. Needless to say,WWE 2K22players should purchase responsibly.
